GO! There is a story that only YOU can tell. Throughout scripture, Christ-followers are called to go and tell the Good News of the Gospel and ‘testify’ to the life-changing power of Jesus. Unfortunately, sometimes Christians feel that their stories, in contrast to others, are insignificant or that we need to trump up Hollywood-style, embellished testimonies to help God out a little. Your story is significant not because of the WHAT you have been through; but because of the WHO that is at the center of it. Paul gave a bold, sincere, accurate, and Christ-centered testimony to King Agrippa in Acts 26.

“Through rain or snow, or sleet or hail, we’ll carry the mail.” That’s the motto of the U.S. postal service. I love that!
What’s disturbing and unfortunate is when our local postman’s commitment to deliver OUR mail far outweighs our commitment to deliver JESUS’ mail (Good News) to a needy world right in our own zip code.
When it comes to commitment to the cause of Christ within His local church, we must ask ourselves: have I been reduced to a mere “consumer” of Christianity, or am I a DEDICATED “servant-soldier” to the King and His kingdom?

Faith In Action: The FCC SERVOLUTION schedule has been released. We have a phenomenal week of community outreach for April 18-23; elderly ministry, homeless outreach, Easter festival at low-income apartment complex, care baskets for seniors, incarcerated youth, and children at-risk.

Paul compares God’s life-giving messengers to that of gladiators in the arena.
In writing to the Corinthians he says, “For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men.” (1 Corinthians 4:9 ESV)
As the last event of the day, the gladiators who were condemned to death were brought into the arena as a spectacle for the excited crowd. The word spectacle comes from the Greek theatron, which refers to a theatre, or public show in which a man is exhibited to be gazed at and made sport of.
In this teaching series, we explore our critical roles as life-giving messengers of His-story, what it looks like to be servants and stewards of the mysteries of the Gospel, and we will be faced with the ultimate conclusion that what we do in life really does echo in eternity.
We have become spectacles in this world, yet shapers of eternity.

This past weekend we wrapped up our “Playmakers” series while setting an ATTENDANCE RECORD at FCC on Super Bowl Sunday! We have launched the NEW year with incredible MOMENTUM and are positioned to storm Chattanooga this Spring with our upcoming SERVOLUTION drive. Communities will be transformed and eternity will look different one hundred years from now because of our commitment to being the hands and feet of Jesus in this city!

This weekend is “Friends and Football” Sunday at FCC. We will wrap-up our “Playmakers” teaching series which will be capped off with a Super Bowl party and Kids Festival beginning at 4:30 PM at the Gymnastics Center of Chattanooga. The Big Game will be shown on the big screen while we offer a ton of kid-friendly games, activities, and fun.
This Sunday @ FCC is the Ultimate WIN for families on Super Bowl Sunday!!!
